- To assure effective and timely cleanliness of the operating rooms, maintain adequate inventory and supply par levels, and transport patients, specimens, equipment and supplies as directed.
- Must be enrolled in the CCC Surgical Tech Program.
Professional
- High school education or equivalent.
- BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required within 90 days of hire

- Ability to accurately follow directions.

Physical
- Stamina – Capable of standing/walking for long periods of time (2-4 hours).
- Strength – Minimally capable of:
- Free lifting 50 pounds.
- Pushing stretchers/beds under loads of 200–500 pounds, with assistance.
- Reflexes/Agility – Minimally capable of:
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, reaching, bending, during shift.
- Responding to sudden, unexpected movements of patients.
- Responding quickly and effectively to emergencies; i.e., chemical spills (medications, IV fluids), infectious exposures, patient contact, needles/syringes, waste handling (bodily fluids), medical equipment.
