JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to Director of Surgical Services, Operating Room Assistant Director and/or designee.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients in the operating room.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
Previous operating room or related experience desirable.
ACLS Certification or completion of ACLS within 6 months
Current AHA BLS Certification required.
Professional certification preferred.
