JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to Cancer Center Director.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
The primary role of this position is to facilitate patient flow and ensure an accurate and complete medical record for each patient.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
Some knowledge of third party billing. Medical terminology.
Recognition of physical exam process and ability to record exam details.
Proficiency with computer applications and typing.
Ability to maintain confidential medical information BLS for Healthcare Providers certified.
Current AHA BLS certification required.
