What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cosmetology/Esthetics Instructor, part-time position at Carteret Community College (NC)?
JOB Carteret Community College accepts applications for adjunct (part-time/substitute) positions in the Cosmetology/Esthetics Technology program on a continuous basis. Part-time and/or substitute instructor appointments are made on a semester-by-semester and/or as needed basis. Minimum hourly rate is $29.67 per contact hour of instruction; hourly rate may be higher dependent on education.
If you meet the minimum qualifications, your application will be included in the adjunct pool for possible assignments in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters of the academic year. The Spa Services Chairperson will utilize the adjunct pool when there is a need and will contact you directly should you possess the required qualifications. Applications are purged approximately two years from submittal, at which time you may re-apply if you wish to remain in the pool.

- Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
- Teach all scheduled classes.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Provide quality instruction, create and maintain an environment which emphasizes teaching and learning.
