We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to support equipment repair, calibration, field service operations, and customer training. This role combines hands-on technical work in a shop environment with travel to customer and offshore locations.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and in a team setting.
Key Responsibilitiesπ§ Repair & Service- Inspect, diagnose, and repair tools in both shop and field environments
- Perform calibration and routine maintenance of equipment
- Travel to customer sites (up to 40%) to operate and support tooling applications
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support
- Accurately enter repair data and service details into internal systems
- Track parts usage and maintain service records
- Modify and prepare toolboxes for equipment kits
- Paint and apply decals as needed
- Pack and unpack tools and equipment for exhibitions and events
- Maintain inventory records and assist with physical counts
- Answer calls and provide technical assistance as needed
- Conduct product training and demonstrations at customer sites
- Support sales efforts through technical expertise
- Perform product conversions according to production orders
- Minimum 5 years of relevant technical/service experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driverβs license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
