This role is ideal for someone with automotive parts experience who enjoys helping technicians and customers find the right parts while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting daily department operations.
As a Parts Counter Associate, you will primarily support our shop counter while assisting with inventory management, shipping and receiving, wholesale accounts, and retail parts sales.
What You'll Do
- Assist technicians by locating and supplying the correct parts quickly and accurately
- Process parts requests through the shop counter
- Support retail and wholesale parts sales
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Research and source parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems
- Ensure parts are properly labeled, stored, and accounted for
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Full-time position
- Rotating shifts
- Some Saturday availability required
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Automotive dealership parts experience preferred
- Knowledge of automotive parts, inventory processes, and catalog systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to customer service
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials as needed
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
