Our client, a well-established and growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm, is seeking a Litigation Attorney in Orlando, FL to join its team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling high-value cases, taking ownership of their caseload, and getting meaningful courtroom and trial experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from filing through verdict
- Meet with clients and file lawsuits
- Handle written discovery and depositions
- Retain and work with expert witnesses
- Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Negotiate settlements
- Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict
- Draft and file motions, including post-trial motions
- Provide direction and guidance to supporting legal staff
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 1-5 years of personal injury litigation experience
- Experience handling an active litigation caseload
- Strong deposition, negotiation, and litigation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong courtroom presence
- Genuine interest in taking cases to trial
