Location: This position will be based out of our Ballard location but will be supporting Ballard, Lynnwood and Shoreline locations.

The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of our dealership facilities. Their primary focus will be on maintaining the grounds, conducting facility repairs and maintenance, and coordinating various facility-related tasks. - Communicate with janitorial crews on an as-needed basis when work is not up to standards or when additional cleaning is required.
- Spot-checking janitorial crews cleaning and doing light housekeeping on anything that is missed.
- Regularly inspects dealership for items that need to be repaired by an electrician, contractor, plumber, etc.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
- Taking care of the dealership's outdoor areas, including mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, watering plants, and maintaining flower beds. This may also involve coordinating with external landscapers or gardeners.
- Performing seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf raking, and salting walkways during winter, and ensuring proper irrigation and maintenance of outdoor spaces during warmer months.
- Assisting with basic maintenance tasks for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, such as changing filters, adjusting thermostats, and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate technicians.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling of specialty items like mercury tube lights.
- Ensure appliances in breakrooms are functional and all breakroom supplies are stocked.
- Maintain breakroom cleanliness.
- Ensure office furniture is in good condition and functional.
- Maintain dealership lot cleanliness and free of hazards.
- Ability to perform light paint touch up to keep facilities looking sharp.
- Replacing light bulbs/fixtures when needed
- Light repair of items when needed – for example – cabinet doors, hinges, door handles, wall plates, and emergency exit signs.
- Performing routine maintenance checks on machinery, tools, and equipment used within the facilities, identifying any issues, and arranging for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Assist with set-up and tear-down of company events.
- Attend quarterly safety meetings and conduct post-meeting repairs that are identified in report.
- Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, and restocking as needed. This includes tracking inventory levels, requesting orders, and organizing storage areas.
- Monitoring for pests and coordinating with exterminators as necessary to address any infestations and implement preventive measures.
- Operates tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Maintains assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner
- Assists in all other areas of the Department, as needed
Qualifications
- WA state driver's license is required
- Clean & Clear WA state driving record is required
- Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen is required
- One to three years of related experience, training or equivalent combination of both.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
