Responsibilities:
- Represent and counsel clients regarding their legal rights and obligations
- Thoroughly review, analyze, and evaluate case information
- Recognize and be accountable for adherence to statute of limitations and notice requirements
- Zealously negotiate to secure fair, timely, and reasonable settlements or verdicts
- Provide outstanding client service in a professional and ethical manner
- Establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with all staff
- Ability to work in the Milford location with occasional travel to other CT offices or courts
- Follow the firm's operating procedures and management guidelines
- Actively practice our core values: Be a champion for others, be innovative, and be accountable
Qualifications:
- Admitted to CT Bar in good standing
- Experience negotiating and settling plaintiff personal injury cases. Trial experience a plus.
- Professional written & verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to develop positive rapport with a diverse group of people
- Proven capacity to work efficiently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Balance working independently and collaborating with others
- Proactive results-focused work ethic
