**IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL RESIDE WITHIN 15 MILES OF ANDERSON, IN**
Carter LOGISTEED is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join our dynamic accounting team. Your duties will include payment processing, invoice processing, reconciliation, reporting AP activity to executive management and operations teams, as well as other accounting activities. The role requires someone with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, as well as a general understanding of accounting and payables management. Attention to detail is crucial to be successful in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Invoice Processing
- POD/Receiving
- Vendor Master Set Up
- Reconcile vendor accounts
- Assist with workflow needs
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- General knowledge of accounting methods and practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail is required.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Knowledge of D365, SAP or Oracle software is a plus. Must have the ability to learn new programs as necessary.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is required to work in warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently close to moving material handling equipment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
