What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Service Representative position at Carter Hoffmann, LLC?
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls, including warranty and non-warranty diagnostic problems for all products, general equipment calls, plus outside sales force support calls.
- Parts/Equipment Orders: coordinate their processing with other service group and TCS members, making sure they are shipped out on time and correct. This includes:
· Order acceptance
· Order editing, price verifications
· Computer Processing
· Commercial Invoices
· Parts and Equipment Quotes
· RGA Communications
· Confirmation/faxing
- Coordinate with service agencies on warranty situations. Responsible for follow up to insure service has satisfactorily been completed with facility.
- Schedule daily pickups.
- Provide freight quotes as requested and work with carriers on missed pickups.
- Process paperwork including printing bill of lading and shipping labels.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to understand technical information.
- Experience in Food Service industry a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
