Job Profile and Description –Duties of this position are focused to ensure that all aspects of the organization's facilities including the physical grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, and emergency operate efficiently. Must be able to self-manage, manage others, and effectively prioritize multiple projects while handling/responding to daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Machine troubleshooting and repair
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot all building systems including HVAC, fire/life safety, plumbing and electrical to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves optimal environmental conditions
- Maintain welders and all hand tools used in production.
- Arrange for and oversee external contractors and inspectors
- Conduct training sessions of production employees on tool repair
- Daily review and prioritization of Preventive Maintenance and projects
- Prepare and submit Purchase Order requests as necessary
- Maintain 5S of all maintenance areas
Skills and Specifications
- Strong experience maintaining various fabrication machines: brake presses, fiber laser, punch press, saws, and punches. Brake presses, laser and punch are all Trumpf.
- Strong experience overseeing and maintaining Preventive Maintenance schedules
- 5 years maintenance experience
- Organizing, planning and problem solving
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NFPA)
- Good interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Proficient with Excel and Word
- Facilities management experience
- Training experience a plus
- Valid Driver's License required
