What You’ll Do
As an Educational Interpreter with Carter Hears!, you will:
- Provide accurate, age-appropriate interpretation of classroom instruction and discussions.
- Facilitate communication during social activities, extracurriculars, and school events.
- Support student comprehension, provide feedback to educators, and assist with hearing technology as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to align with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Prior experience as an educational interpreter.
- EIPA 3.5 AND proof of passed written EIPA test
- Able to pass a background check, maintain liability insurance, and provide proof of TB test.
