The Internal Wholesaler Trainee position is a structured, entry-level role designed to prepare recent graduates or early-career professionals for a long-term career in financial sales. Trainees will learn the fundamentals of the firm's investment products, sales strategies, and compliance requirements while supporting experienced wholesalers. This role serves as a pipeline into a full Internal Wholesaler position upon successful completion of the program.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support internal and external wholesalers in the execution of sales strategies across assigned territories.
- Participate in product training, sales coaching, and professional development workshops.
- Conduct outbound sales and follow-up calls under supervision.
- Manage CRM system entries and assist with territory activity tracking and reporting.
- Prepare customized sales materials, proposals, and client presentations.
- Attend virtual meetings, webinars, and client events to observe and learn best practices.
- Coordinate logistics for regional sales campaigns and promotional events.
- Understand and apply FINRA/SEC regulations and company compliance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Required Experience/Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in a client-facing or sales role (internships included).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 licenses (if not already licensed).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
