JOB DESCRIPTION
Assistant Project Managers will report directly to the Project Manager.
General duties of the Assistant Project Manager include:
- Assist Project Manager in monitoring all phases of construction.
- Coordinate on-site construction activity for the scope of work and for all trades.
- Inspect subcontractors work for quality standards.
- Communicate safety standards to laborers and subcontractors; enforces safety regulations on all job sites.
- Manage customer expectations during the project (OAC meetings, Owner walks, submittal and finish selection process, etc).
- Communicate daily with various departments of company, subcontractors & clients.
- Monitor, oversee implementation of corrective work, and generate formal response to all design Team and 3rd Party field reports.
- Assist Superintendent with development of site logistics and site progress maps.
- Coordinate scheduling of all project meetings including setting up Zoom Meeting and calendar invites.
- Assist Project Manager in development and administration of all project control methods – buyout log, submittal log, lead time log, etc.
- Generate and manage RFI and submittal processes.
- Update project drawings with current RFI’s, ASI’s, etc Issue meeting minutes for all project meetings.
- Assist Project Manager in receiving subcontractor pay apps.
- Assist Project Manager in generating subcontractor scopes of work and contracts.
- Facilitate the Bid Analysis process.
- Create project locations in Procore.
- Manage and update all folders in Procore documents tab.
- Maintain project directory in Procore.
- Assist with project punch list, warranty and close out activities.
- Assist Project Managers with generating Notice of Supplementation and Notice of Default.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three to four years experience in multifamily construction projects is required.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the Southeast.
- Construction experience and/or internship preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, etc. preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook; proficiency with Procore construction software.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, work against deadlines, and organize work flow despite multiple interruptions.
- Excellent customer service skills including problem/conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle and diffuse difficult situations.
- Display effective communication skills within a team environment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
