Carter Americas is seeking a talented, self-motivated Sales Support Representative to add to its Minneapolis-based team. This position is responsible for internal sales and warehouse support. Along with account management, this position champions the complete sales process from quotation phase to procurement through to shipping. This position will support any department in the pursuit of the company’s mission and within its policies.

Essential Job Functions
- Support basic customer inquiries and generate a product solution.
- Accurately enter customer information, product information and pricing into the database.
- Ensure customer acounts are up-to-date and assist the accounting team in investigating any late-payments.
- Generate quotes, create invoices and purchase orders and process payments.
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time.
- Actively participate in meetings including: global sales meeting, customer meetings, technical meetings, and supplier meetings.
- Support warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving and stock checks.
- Support trade show organization
- Maintain regular communication with senior leadership.
- Support adhoc projects in the pursuit of business development and operational excellence.
Required Experience/Skills
- High school diploma or GED with some college preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and work on many concurrent projects while staying organized.
- Mechanically minded with an interest in Engineering.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when inputting data and completing tasks.
- Ability to communicate clear and concise technical information.
- IT literate: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent phone and email etiquette and grammar.
- Problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with bearings and/or mechanical tools.
- Experience in sales and customer service.
- Drive and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Willingness to grow and learn both professionally and personally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
