What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at Carten-Fujikin Incorporated?
Carten-Fujikin Inc. manufactures valves and assemblies for the semiconductor processing market. The valves manufactured are of an ultra-high purity and assembled and tested in a class 100 cleanroom.
POSITION SUMMARY
- Able to read and work off of Engineering prints.
- Understand assembly process.
- Able to use measuring devices including torque wrenches and calipers.
- Ability to use a variety of tools, wrenches, screw drivers, snap ring pliers.
- Able to use pneumatic operated presses.
- Able to understand the operation of the valve.
- Clean room environment (gowned, gloves, mask, hood) protective safety eyewear and footwear required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focused individual; able to do a repeatable job with precision and maintain concentration.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Reads, writes and understands English.
- Is able to read and correctly interpret Engineering drawings.
- Must complete all necessary reporting and required paperwork.
- Must follow all safety procedures and practices.
- Other duties as required.

EDUCATION
High School Degree or GED Required.
EXPERIENCE
Ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years’ experience.
