Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver freight across various routes, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers for route driving, deliveries, and pickups across designated regions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws diligently to ensure personal safety and that of other road users.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- 2y Experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmission preferred.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers.
