Summary
The Accreditation and Regulatory Specialist ensures continuous survey readiness and organizational compliance with all applicable accreditation standards, regulations, and industry requirements. Under the general direction of the Director of Quality and Risk Management, the specialist coordinates accreditation activities, monitors regulatory compliance, and maintains current knowledge of evolving laws and standards. The specialist collaborates with leadership, medical staff, and team members across the organization to implement and sustain practices that support regulatory requirements and advance quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Current and unencumbered licensure Registered Nurse (RN) through the Nevada State Board of Nursing
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare accreditation, regulatory compliance, or quality management.
- Working knowledge of CMS, State and other compliance standards.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence
