Carson City Storage is hiring for our self-storage facility located on Arrowhead Dr. in Carson City, NV. We are a local, family owned and operated business looking for a hard worker who wants to grow with our company! We have a 32 hour per week, weekend position available. Must be available Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

In this position you will serve as the first point of contact for customers wanting to rent a storage unit, Penske rental vehicle/trailer or parking spot. Other job responsibilities include processing rental agreements and collecting payments, doing light maintenance and cleaning of the facility as well as cleaning Penske trucks being returned, answering phones and ensuring the safety of the customer and other employees through observation of safety rules and regulations.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the below essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

• Greet customers and answer questions accurately with a smile. Customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong computer skills are a plus. Internet Explorer based rental management software is used.
• Correctly calculate payments for customers.
• Ensure that customers are safe once they have entered our gated facility.
• Provide general upkeep of facility.
• Complete all assigned tasks including regular filing, completion of dailies and general duties as assigned.
• Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention
• Perform other duties as assigned, including data entry and minor customer service responsibilities.
• Approach all encounters with employees, customers and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
