- !!! CARRY-ON TRAILER IS CURRENTLY OFFERING A $1000 RETENTION BONUS FOR ALL FULL TIME APPLICANTS THAT ARE NEWLY HIRED. THE BONUS WILL BE PAID IN THREE INSTALLMENTS AFTER COMPLETION OF 30 DAYS, 60 DAYS, AND 90 DAYS.

We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a distribution handler. Responsible for helping with loading trailers into trucks for shipping.
Duties And Responsibilities Includes But Are Not Limited To
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to understand diagrams for how trailers will be stacked for shipment.
- Strong communication skills to communicate with forklift drivers as trailers are stacked.
- Follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
- Ability to use and read a tape measure is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
- Environment is not climate controlled. Limited control of heat and cooling, hot in the summers and cold in the winters.
- Employee will be spending most of their workday outside in each of the elements; hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.
- Loud industrial environment.
- Walking, standing, kneeling, bending are required up to 90% of the workday
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50-70 pounds, up to 20% of the workday
- This is a full-time position. Work week is Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts. Fridays and Saturday will be required when production demand requires overtime.
