Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a Cargo Finisher.
Responsible for performing various tasks on a production line in a manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Perform installation plywood floors and walls, roofing material, sheet metal, doors, and outside aluminum trim.
- Responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials, production line assignments and wood floor installation in a manufacturing facility.
- Installation of wire, lights, labels, etc.
- Follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
- Must have the ability to use and read a tape measure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
- Environment is not climate controlled. Limited control of heat and cooling, hot in the summers and cold in the winters.
- Loud industrial environment.
- Walking, standing, kneeling, bending are required up to 90% of the workday
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50-70 pounds, up to 20% of the workday
- This is a full-time position. Work week is Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts. Saturday will be required when production demand requires overtime.
