SUMMARY

Responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials, production line assignments and wood floor installation in a manufacturing facility.  Incumbents are also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all work in a safe manner while meeting established quality standards
• Follow all prescribed procedures, standard work, and company guidelines
• Assemble trailer components as directed by the floor supervisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; properly care for tools and equipment
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and expectations
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and task focus
• Comply with all safety rules and quality requirements
• Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Uphold all applicable OSHA and workplace safety standards
• Perform daily cleanup of assigned work area

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Basic understanding of production processes, quality control, and manufacturing practices preferred
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a consistent basis
• Ability to safely and repetitively operate hand-held power tools for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements including grasping, gripping, and material handling
• Ability to stand, squat, and kneel for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and improve
• Dependable attendance and punctuality, with reliable transportation
