Carrozza is looking for a talented, motivated, and dependable Chef to join our kitchen team in downtown Edenton.

Position Overview
The Chef will help execute Carrozza’s menu while maintaining high standards for food quality, consistency, presentation, cleanliness, and kitchen organization. This is an opportunity for an experienced culinary professional who enjoys working in a hands-on kitchen and takes pride in delivering an excellent product.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items consistently and efficiently
- Maintain high standards for food quality, flavor, presentation, and portion control
- Follow recipes, preparation procedures, and food-safety standards
- Assist with daily kitchen preparation and service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Assist with inventory, receiving, storage, and proper food rotation
- Monitor food quality and freshness
- Help maintain appropriate food costs and minimize waste
- Support a positive, professional, team-oriented kitchen environment
- Follow all sanitation and food-safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional kitchen or chef experience
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a team
- Passion for quality food and hospitality
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Food-safety certification preferred
