This is a full-time on-site Heavy Equipment Operator role located in Monroe, WI. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery, ensuring safe and efficient excavation and site preparation. Day-to-day tasks will include operating equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and skid loaders, performing routine maintenance on machines, and adhering to safety protocols to execute projects effectively.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, such as excavators, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks
- Experience in excavation and site preparation across residential, agricultural, or commercial projects
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and the ability to identify and address basic mechanical issues
- Familiarity with handling used equipment and ensuring it is in good operational condition
- Understanding and adherence to workplace safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow project plans and instructions
- Prior experience in construction or excavation is preferred
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is highly desirable
