Carrollton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a FT Staff Development Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Understands facility policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
2. Utilizes regulations, policies, procedures and job descriptions to define, plan, implement and evaluate learning opportunities.
3. Develops and directs orientation programs for all personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures.
4. Monitors and supervises continuity between classroom and clinical application.
5. Maintains accurate, complete and up-to-date records of educational programs and personnel participation.
6. Assist in assessing learning needs of personnel to meet the needs of the consumer, organization and the employee.
7. Ensures that patient/resident rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil streets, including the right to wage a complaint, are well established and always maintained.
8. Participate in the quality assessment and improvement process and activities.
Position Requirements:
1. Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
2. Must be able to read, write, and speak and understand the English language.
3. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
4. Must be able to relate to information concerning a patient condition.
