How You'll Contribute
A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role:
- Provides pharmacy technician support for medication distribution, inventory management, automated dispensing systems, and day-to-day pharmacy operations under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
- Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
- Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
- Repackages bulk medications.

Applicants should have a Hight school diploma or equivalent (required). Additional requirements include:
- Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy in good standing and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
