POSITION SUMMARY
Our Internship Program is designed to offer each intern the maximum amount of exposure to the construction industry during your summer with us. To accomplish this, we will have you spend half your time in the office working with a Project Manager and the rest of your time in the field working with a Superintendent. We intentionally conduct a 30-day informal review to make sure you’re getting the most out of your experience with us.

In addition to direct interaction with executives, we involve our interns in several company social events from white water rafting to rooftop yoga and more. Our program also provides housing for interns and offers unique perks and learning opportunities like Safety Ride-Along Day, Jobsite Tours, and #BuildingforBetter Day, a day dedicated to building a better community through volunteering and stewardship with our annual philanthropic beneficiary.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Completing Daily Reports
- Participating in Weekly Meetings
- Helping with Safety Enforcement on the Jobsite
- Checking Quality Control, Verifying Plans & Specs
- Distributing Punch Lists, with Follow-Up
- Completing Field Paperwork
- Updating As-Built Drawings
- Preparing for Three-Week Look Ahead
WORKING CONDITIONS
- The majority of work completed on job sites is in an office trailer or in an existing structure. Due to daily condition changes on construction projects, when employees are outside of the office trailer or structure, they must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required by the company's safety policies and as required for weather conditions.
