Mountain View Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) to join our team. In this role, you’ll support resident care by safely administering medications to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff, while promoting a positive and professional care environment.Responsibilities:Administer medications to residents via approved routes (oral, topical, nasal, ophthalmic, etc.) under RN/LPN delegationProvide PRN medications as directed by licensed nursesRecognize and report any changes in resident condition immediatelyScreen residents for pain using approved toolsAssist with controlled substance counts and administrationMaintain medication carts, restock supplies, and follow all MVNH policies and proceduresCommunicate effectively during shift reports and with the care teamUphold professional standards, resident privacy, and confidentialityAttend required meetings and complete ongoing education (12 hours annually)Work flexibly as an LNA or MNA based on resident and facility needsQualifications:Valid NH LNA license2 years full-time LNA experience (or part-time equivalent of 4,160 hours over 5 years)Completion of NH Board of Nursing–approved MNA courseValid NH MNA certificateStrong communication skills, professionalism, and compassionPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs., push/pull equipment and assist with transfersAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periodsManual dexterity, adequate hearing/vision, and emotional patienceWorking Conditions:Exposure to physical exertion, heat/humidity, body fluids, and occasional emotional situationsCategory III infection exposure levelIf you are passionate about resident care and looking to grow in a supportive team environment, we’d love to hear from you!
