Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and dedicated EMTs to join our team. As an EMT, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in rural area that runs two ALS trucks 24/7 with a call volume of less than 1500/yr. This is a service with progressive protocols and up-to-date equipment, a local hands-on medical director and board of directors that support employees. Pay starts at 17.50/hr for full-time with benefits and 18.00/hr for part-time with an expected increase in May 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide efficient and effective medical care
- Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Administer basic and advanced life support and perform necessary medical procedures
- Utilize medical equipment and devices, such as defibrillators and oxygen delivery systems
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities while providing ongoing care en route
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to relay patient information and receive instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during medical procedures
Qualifications:
- Licensed as an EMT in the state of Missouri.
- BLS provider credentials.
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- No criminal background
