What We're Looking For
Ready Jet Operators reports to and works closely with the Fleet Manager. A Ready Jet Operator is responsible for operating the Ready Jet Blaster following standard operating and audit procedures. This position operates the Ready Jet Blaster to remove concrete build up from inside the fleet of ready-mix trucks. This position also requires auditing each truck for wear and tear. This role will evolve with time so flexibility is a must. Mechanical experience is a plus.

This position operates the Ready Jet Blaster to remove concrete build up from inside the fleet of ready-mix trucks. This position also requires auditing each truck for wear and tear. Primary Ready Jet Duties
- Travel among plants throughout NH and VT with the Ready Jet blaster to clean concrete from each ready-mix truck.
- File a report on every vehicle on the condition of each drum/truck.
- Monitor the process during cleanout.
- Drum inventory management - measuring the thickness of the drum using an ultrasound machine.
- Pull the hatch on the drum and visualize the internal condition of the drum.
- Maintaining and greasing the Jet Blaster.
- Winterize process during the cold season.
- Work with other team members at each plant to clean up discharged chipped concrete.
- Safety conscious close proximity repair to a in service piece of equipment.
- When not performing Ready Jet duties, this position helps and assist all mechanics with daily repairs and help maintain shop flow.
- Discuss all shop issues and concerns with Fleet Manager daily and treat all concerns with respect and privacy.
- Follow paper-flow procedures including documenting all repairs, parts used, issues and items needing ordering.
- Report all accidents, injuries or near misses to supervisor immediately.
- Work safely and efficiently.
- Foster a team environment.
- Other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Desired Qualifications
- Must have good communication skills.
- Knowledge of technical components in necessary.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must be able to maintain composure through stressful situations and when under time constraints.
- Minimum of 2 years of technical or mechanical experience is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 100 pounds as required throughout the workday.
- Bending, squatting, climbing, standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to grasp, discern color, be capable of using tools and equipment properly.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of vehicles safely.
- Must be able to climb ladders (on vehicles) when necessary.
- Must be able to work long and flexible hours as necessary.
- Must pass DOT (Department of Transportation) physical as well as federally mandated alcohol and drug testing requirements. Must be insurable within the tolerable limits of the Company and its insurance company.
