Support II-2nd Shift

Carris Reels, Inc. is hiring 3 Layout operators!**One on 1st shift**and**two on 2nd shift!**

Position Summary

Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the**Production Layout**personnel will build flanges using lumber boards, according to spec and ensuring a quality product is sent on to the next step.

Key Position Functions

• Layout a pattern of lumber boards ranging from to 1 thick and from 24 to 42 in length in one direction, then stack a second layer in the opposite direction.
• Staple the lumber boards (flanges) with a nail gun, in a circular motion
• Flip this flange over to a lift table.
• Repeat this process until you get a stack of 15 flanges, then it will be picked up and you will continue with a new stack.
  
  

This process is done repeatedly for the entire shift.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• High School or Equivalent work experience
  
  

Essential Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Prior use of nail gun is helpful, but not essential
• Ability to lift up to 25-75lbs
• Heavy lifting, twisting, constant use of hands, arms, and legs, stacking heavy lumber boards, flipping completed flanges over onto a stack.
