Part-Time Maintenance Technician

Carrington Pointe Apartments is seeking a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team in Rock Springs, Wyoming. If you take pride in keeping properties looking their best and enjoy a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks, we'd love to hear from you.

Position Details

• Part-time (25 hours per week)
• Monday through Friday
• 5 hours per day
• Occasional on-call responsibilities
• Starting pay: $16.00 per hour
• Sick leave benefits available after 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Complete general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting repairs
• Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in an occasional on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting repairs
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
