Job Title: Operations Manager
Job Summary
In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining and creating efficiencies within the document, funding, and post-funding teams to meet or exceed established service levels.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of US state and federal laws and regulations applicable to our operations.
- Supervise and manage team members to achieve all turn times, including disbursements, shipping, fundings, etc.
- Ensure team members are fully trained and current on all policies and procedures.
- Liaise with direct reports, internal staff, sales staff, vendors, and brokers to resolve outstanding issues and facilitate closing-related concerns.
- Handle highly confidential information concerning loan applicants.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of the mortgage origination process in wholesale lending.
- Able to make decisions that have moderate impact on the department's credibility, operations, and services.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on a short- and long-term basis.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Advanced experience in specific software or ability to learn new systems (loan origination system, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years' experience in mortgage origination operations.
