Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns to introduce our organization’s initiatives and services in designated neighborhoods or areas.
• Engage with diverse audiences using strong communication skills to explain our mission and answer questions clearly and confidently.
• Utilize bilingual abilities to connect with a broader range of community members, ensuring inclusivity and effective outreach.
• Promote our programs through persuasive sales techniques, emphasizing the value of support and participation.
• Collect feedback from community members to inform future outreach strategies and improve engagement efforts.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, including contact information and responses, for follow-up purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate canvassing schedules, share insights, and achieve collective goals.

Qualifications

• Proven supervising or leadership experience in community outreach, sales, or marketing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and persuade diverse audiences.
• Experience in customer service or telemarketing enhances your ability to engage positively with community members.
• Previous door-to-door canvassing or fundraising experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is highly desirable to maximize outreach impact.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with motivation, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
