What You'll Do

As our Recon & Quality Control Specialist, you'll play a critical role in the customer experience by ensuring every vehicle is ready for delivery before the customer arrives.

Your responsibilities include:

Wash and vacuum every customer vehicle following service to ensure it leaves the shop clean and presentable.

Perform a final quality control inspection before vehicle delivery.

Verify the repairs listed on the repair order have been completed.

Confirm there are no warning lights, fluid leaks, loose components, or obvious concerns before delivery.

Ensure all underbody shields, engine covers, wheel center caps, valve stem caps, and other components are properly installed.

Check fluid levels and tire pressures as directed.

Road test vehicles when requested to verify repairs and assist with quality control.

Stage completed vehicles in the delivery area, ready for customer pickup.

Transport customers using the company shuttle when needed.

Retrieve parts and assist technicians with vehicle movement throughout the day.

Keep the shop, parking lot, wash bay, and customer delivery areas clean, organized, and professional.

Assist with general shop support duties to help keep technicians productive and operations running efficiently.

At Precision Imports and Precision Autoworks, we believe the customer experience doesn't end when the repair is complete. Before every vehicle is returned, it should be thoroughly inspected, professionally presented, and leave our shop looking and performing its best.

What You'll Do

As our Recon & Quality Control Specialist, you'll be the final set of eyes on every vehicle before it goes home.

Your responsibilities include:

Perform final quality control inspections on completed repairs

Verify repairs listed on the repair order have been completed

Check for missing components, loose fasteners, warning lights, fluid levels, and overall vehicle condition

Road test vehicles when required

Wash, vacuum, and perform final detailing of customer vehicles

Stage completed vehicles for customer delivery

Assist technicians by moving vehicles, retrieving parts, and supporting shop operations

Provide shuttle rides for customers as needed

Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility

Assist with general shop organization and cleanliness

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail

Pride in producing high-quality work

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Ability to safely operate a variety of passenger vehicles, SUVs, and light trucks

Automotive experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right individual with the right attitude.
