The Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner role is an exciting opportunity to lead the HR function for the Kidde Residential Home Safety business. The incumbent will be responsible for leading human resource initiatives and promoting a high-performance environment, including leadership effectiveness, staffing, talent development, performance programs, compensation, culture transformation, workforce planning, employee relations, and communications.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
As a trusted advisor, provide advice and counsel to leaders and managers to optimize employee engagement, team development, and organization effectiveness.
As an HR strategy enabler, collaborate with the business and implement/manage human resources projects and programs related to compensation, performance management, employee development, HR analysis, and planning, change management, and organization transformation.
Manage key HR processes, including annual salary planning, sales incentive design, leadership development, and headcount and employment cost planning.
Demonstrate talent focus by recruiting high-performing individuals across the division for all levels of the organization. In partnership with recruitment organizations, develop creative, innovative strategies to recruit high potential talent.
Partner closely with Managing Director to drive and implement Talent Programs and practices, such as leadership development and succession planning
Leads change management efforts, including change impact analysis, developing the plan, communication, and execution.
Identify employee relations issues, conduct timely investigations, prepare documentation and make appropriate recommendations.
As a culture & change agent champion continuous improvement initiatives.
As a trend spotter, compile and analyze Human Resources data, develop strategies to respond to trends
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
BA/BS degree In Human Resources
10 years of exempt-level Human Resources experience supporting professional employees, with role progression
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
MA/MS degree
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively and influence at all levels in a diverse and dynamic work environment
Experience leading organizational change; creating and building organizational capabilities utilizing proven and established systems or frameworks
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with incentive compensation design and administration preferred
Knowledge of human resource practices and policies and applicable state and federal laws
Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
Ability to balance competing priorities and transition between strategic and tactical elements of the role throughout the day
High learning agility
Experience enabline and working in a HR Operating Model with COE and shared service structure
Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Interest and desire to work in an HR operating model with COE and HR operations
Ability to travel up to 25%
