Automated Logic is looking for an Estimator Specialist (Inside Sales) for our Global Strategic Accounts Team. As an Estimator Specialist/Inside Sales, you will be crucial to the business by aiding in the pricing of services to offer customers the best solution. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, and enjoys quantitative problem-solving. You will be able to advance your skills to prepare yourself for future endeavors.
Key Responsibilities
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Review specification and control schematics.
- Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes.
- Create detailed scope letters and proposals.
- Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals.
- Provide accurate estimates and proposals.
- Partner closely with our operations and engineering teams to provide the best solutions and pricing.
- Assist with the selection of contractors.
- Qualify opportunities and assist to develop bid strategy.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of Sales, Building Automation, HVAC, and/or Controls experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- Ability to value engineer control designs with alternative solutions.
- Experience with providing takeoffs of control schematics using software such as Bluebeam
- Experience with sales tools and software, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and estimating software, Bid Tracer.
- Experience in the Data Center Market
- Ability to solve moderate to challenging financial and accounting-related issues.
- Strong skills in written and oral communication, analysis, organization and time management.
- Capable of building strong relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Self-motivated and passion for continuous improvement.
- Capability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Knowledge of how to present ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences, leadership, and decision makers.
