Job Summary

Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations to help them find the right HVAC/R products and supplies for their needs.
- Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all requested items are available, properly priced, and invoiced correctly.
- Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing.
- Monitor and replenish floor stock, conduct regular inventory counts, and report discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment and components.
- Promote sales initiatives and special offers while identifying opportunities to upsell products when appropriate.
- Provide warehouse operations support, including receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming merchandise.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and product organization.
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized counter and warehouse environment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the HVAC/R industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R products, equipment, and components.
- Excellent customer service skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computerized sales and inventory management systems.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to access products and supplies.
- May need to operate a forklift; prior forklift certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of customer service experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
