About This Role

We are currently seeking a Market Analyst professional to join our team. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing organizations to develop and achieve competitive pricing strategies by providing a wide range of pricing analysis support.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate domestic and international sales opportunities related to HVAC equipment
• Provide price recommendations to the sales force by analyzing regional market pricing and competitive bid information
• Recommend and authorize pricing based on project details, market conditions and established pricing guidelines
• Strategically participate in contract negotiations
• Work with complex data sets to determine and set competitive price levels for assigned distributors & propose findings to management
• Provide statistical reports to illustrate how pricing strategies impact profitability and sales volume
• Maintain pricing updates in SAP
• Issue monthly price reporting packages to leadership on market trends
• Collaborate across functions on pricing related initiatives (independent project focus)
• Develop new and/or streamline current price realization and price metrics reports
• Independently manage assigned process improvement projects
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7 years of experience in a finance, accounting, and/or pricing environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and research skills
• Effective reporting and presentation skills
• Excellent customer service & relationship building skills
• Pricing/negotiating experience
• Expert user in SAP
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of BI reporting, query development & BHP Claiming data
• Proven strong team collaboration skills by effectively working with various groups and departments
• Proven success within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating skills that require prioritizing and completing multiple time-sensitive activities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range

$77,500.00-$135,250.00
