Role Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing and optimizing material flow and storage within the warehouse.
- Support layout planning and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
- Collect and analyze data on inventory accuracy, space utilization, and material handling efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks in warehouse operations.
- Participate in development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Help implement digital tools or systems for tracking materials and improving visibility.
- Conduct time studies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- To support the manufacturing engineering team in improving warehouse operations through data-driven analysis, process optimization, and hands-on project work.
- To gain practical experience in material handling, logistics, and lean manufacturing within a dynamic production environment.
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any engineering field.
- Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and proactive
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
