We are looking for Managing Partner at our Greenlawn SW Cemetery, Bakersfield, California. We’re looking for a high-caliber leader ready to take full ownership of a well-established, high-performing location. Compensation: $150,000–$160,000 base significant annual & long-term incentives
Location: Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery
Preferably or ability to obtain within year one:
- CA Cemetery Manager License
- CA Crematory Manager License
- CA Cemetery Broker’s License

You will lead all aspects of operations for a successful funeral home and cemetery—driving performance, developing people, and ensuring every family receives exceptional, ethical, and personalized care.

Own Financial Performance

- Ensure full regulatory compliance and best-in-class standards
- Oversee facilities, grounds, and overall presentation
- Build strong, effective vendor partnerships
Strengthen Community Presence
- Lead local marketing and outreach initiatives
- Expand visibility and develop new revenue channels
What You Bring
- 5 years of funeral home and/or cemetery management experience
- Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer (or ability to reciprocate in California)
- Strong business acumen with P&L ownership experience
- A proven ability to lead teams and drive measurable results
- Experience in cemetery operations and sales
- A self-starter mindset with strong accountability and problem-solving skills
- An entrepreneurial approach—you think like an owner, not an employee
Preferred (or Ability to Obtain Within Year One)
- California Cemetery Manager License

- California Cemetery Broker License
