What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Baseball Umpire position at Carrboro, Town of (NC)?
YOUTH BASEBALL UMPIRE
The Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources Department is seeking qualified individuals to umpire Youth Baseball games. Candidates with previous umpiring experience are preferred. Baseball/Softball playing or coaching experience and sound baseball rules knowledge is highly desirable. Play is governed by local league rules and National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) rules. Training will be provided prior to the season.
Spring Baseball games are primarily played Friday evenings and Saturdays in April through early June with additional weekday evenings games. Individuals hired may also have the potential to umpire during our Fall League (September-October). Age groups include 6-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Flexible scheduling exists with umpires being assigned 2-6 games per week.

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50.00 per game
