Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain pumps, water treatment systems, to ensure continuous operation.
- Conduct routine inspections of water systems, and associated mechanical components to identify issues early.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, valves, piping, and control systems using mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Collect data related to water quality parameters, system performance metrics, and operational logs for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Follow safety regulations by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to lockout/tagout procedures, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Assist with construction projects or upgrades involving heavy equipment operation, plumbing, or system installation as needed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in pump maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with water treatment processes, and related equipment operation.
- Proficiency in basic math for calculations related to flow rates, chemical dosing, or system adjustments.
- Analytical skills for data collection, troubleshooting issues efficiently, and implementing effective solutions.
- Plumbing / electrical skills combined with construction experience are advantageous for system upgrades or repairs.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
