Part-Time Sample & Shipping Clerk

Schedule: Part-Time (Approximately 4–6 hours per day, Monday–Friday. Hours may vary based on workload.)
About the Position
Carr Textile is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Sample & Shipping Clerk to join our team. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who enjoys variety, can multitask, and takes pride in producing quality work.
You will assist with sample preparation, shipping, inventory of samples, quality testing, and general office/lab support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and fulfill fabric sample card requests
- Create custom fabric samples for customers
- Assemble fabric sample cards
- Package and ship orders using USPS, FedEx, and UPS
- Perform basic fabric quality testing
- Prepare materials for trade shows
- Enter trade show leads into our computer system
- Assist with sample inventory and organization
- Perform light janitorial and housekeeping duties
- Cross-train in our fabric testing laboratory
- Help with additional projects as needed
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Previous warehouse, shipping, assembly, or clerical experience is a plus but not required
