Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Plumbing Showroom Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting plumbing fixtures, kitchen and bath products, and accessories while delivering an outstanding showroom experience. The ideal candidate enjoys sales, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about helping customers bring their projects to life.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Assist homeowners, contractors, designers, and builders with product selection.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business.
- Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain showroom displays to ensure products are clean, organized, and up to date.
- Stay informed on new products, features, and industry trends.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to work collaboratively, support fellow team members, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, plumbing, kitchen and bath fixtures, or a related field preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with computers and point-of-sale or order-entry systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s, bachelor’s degree or additional education or training in design, sales, or related areas is a plus.
