Rental Sales Associate
Imagine yourself as a Part Time Rental Counter/ Sales Associate working in our Pittsfield store. You could be helping in a fast paced department, with the day-to-day operations including, helping customers rent large equipment, answer questions on how to use it, answering the phone, ringing through sales, and assisting deliveries and set ups.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Actively taking customer calls and face to face questions, regarding rental equipment and usage. Ensuring all customers expectations are met.
- Organizing/scheduling of customer rentals, rental equipment repairs, screen, glass and lamp repairs, UPS shipments and parts delivery.
- Ordering equipment replacement parts and maintaining adequate stock levels of fast moving parts
- Working with the delivery team on the road, ensuring timely pick-up/delivery of rentals and equipment repairs.
- Ensuring equipment is assembled and test before delivered/return by customer.
- Completing other duties or tasks when asked
The skills you will need
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs in a single lift
- Attention to detail
- Top-notch organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, working at team level,
- Strong initiative to learn multiple computer systems and different company regulations and requirements.
- Strong professional customer service skills in dealing with a myriad of different customers. Building strong relationships for the future
- Flexible and have the ability to adapt to ever-changing priorities based on the operations at hand.
- Clean Driving License is required
- Strong attendance record

Working Conditions:
This job includes constant interactions with the public, face to face and phone. There maybe some exposure to chemicals including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and solvents. The ability to stand for long periods of time. Schedule is 5 days a week including weekends, 1 in 3 Sundays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
