Banquet Sous Chef Crowne Plaza Hotel

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our kitchen team as Line Chef. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing quality dishes, supporting the kitchen team, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive chef in organizing daily prep lists and keeping banquet team on task
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets the hotel's standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques
- Execute functions of varying size & type, and often multiple at the same time.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Skills:
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques w/ 5 years experience managing a kitchen team                                                                                                                                                                          - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        - Previous experience in a hotel setting is a plus

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour
