Carpigiani is seeking a dedicated and experienced Spare Parts Manager. This position combines operational responsibilities with leadership duties, managing a team of direct reports, while ensuring efficient spare parts operations. The role also contributes to strategic initiatives to enhance parts sales and customer engagement.
Role and Responsibilities
- This position is hands-on, routinely performing day-to-day tasks such as order entry, invoicing, and Return Material Authorization (RMA) processing in addition to supervising a small team.
- Process spare parts orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Communicate effectively with Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, and Procurement teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
- Monitor stock levels and identify deficiencies to prevent delays.
- Manage RMAs and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain strong customer service standards and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, including setting priorities, monitoring performance, and providing coaching.
- Promote a collaborative environment where leadership and team participation go hand-in-hand.
- Actively seek opportunities to increase parts sales through upselling, cross-selling and targeted promotions.
- Analyze customer purchasing patterns and provide actionable suggestions to improve parts sales.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop promotional strategies for spare parts.
- Share insights from customer interactions to inform targeted marketing campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
