Job Description

Floor & Home Carpet One is hiring a Full-Time Flooring Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is a customer-facing sales role where you’ll help homeowners choose the right flooring for their style, budget, and lifestyle. Responsibilities

As a Flooring Sales Consultant, you will:

• Greet customers and guide them through flooring selections based on design preferences, lifestyle, and budget
• Schedule in-home measurements and coordinate installation services
• Prepare quotes, review blueprints, and assist with projects from small remodels to large renovations
• Answer customer questions in person and over the phone
• Maintain showroom displays and overall store appearance
• Participate in ongoing training and product education
• Assist with store events and promotions

This is a fast-paced, rewarding role that allows you to build lasting customer relationships while helping clients create their dream homes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to assist customers with product selection, design, and purchasing decisions
• Goal-oriented mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability to work a fixed schedule, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and some holidays
• Professional, polite, and respectful demeanor
• Basic reading, math, writing, and communication skills
• Commitment to ethical professional standards
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Sales experience is helpful but not required—hands-on training is provided.

Pay & Benefits

Sales consultants performing at the national average can expect to earn $50,000 annually.

Schedule

• Monday–Saturday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• 8 hour shifts
• Two days off per week (including every Sunday)
• Some holidays required (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)
